Hampton's Nursery...

Believe it or not, I think we have finally completed the nursery!  With the exception of a little bit of organzing, the nursery is finished and ready for Hamp baby to get nice and cozy in his room.  Our goal was to make this room simple and sweet on a reasonable budget.  Now that we are finished, I can tell you that it ended up being very special to us.  Kole and I have both put a lot of thought into this room.  We each had little projects that we took on and we had lots of loved ones that made special things for the room so needless to say, it is very special to us and we just hope you love it as much as we do!
The GORGEOUS changing table is a project my best friend took on for us.  It is beautiful and it is one of my favorite things about the room.  The hardware is from Anthropologie and it adds the perfect touch.  Kole and I painted the letters and shelf compliments of Hobby Lobby.  The basket is an adorable find my mother gave us and the gown was made by my Aunt Peggy and will be the outfit Hampton wears home from the hospital.
The Jenny Lind crib was a gift from my mother and Kole and I did some light distressing which added the perfect touch.  My mom is now using the same Jenny Lind crib that my brother and I slept in for when Hampton visits her house.  So I know this crib will be used for our grandchildren someday.  The bedding is simply perfect and is from Restoration Hardware Baby.  The rocking horse  was a gift that my friend Coley made.  How cute is that!?

The mobile hangs above Hampton's crib and is a project I nervously took on but I have to say I am very happy with the way it turned out.  The ceiling in the nursery are vaulted so it was the perfect way to take up this space.  The birds are handmade and I ordered them from Etsy.  I got the rest of the items from Hobby Lobby and the project ended up being pretty simple!
Kole took on the project of painting the room, painting and putting up the bead board and of course hanging everything else in the room!
We just love this big comfy chair!  It is an oatmeal linen fabric and I know we are going to enjoy some late nights with Hampton in this chair.  The quilt is a gift I blogged about a few weeks ago.  It was made by my best friend Jana and I think it adds the finishing touch to the room, giving the room the extra bit of color it needed.  I adore this quilt!
This table and antique window pane was a little something I found at an antique store.  I needed a small piece for this small space and these items worked perfectly while still giving us some extra shelving.  The "H" is another little project I tried one day while I was bored.  It is simply wrapped in twine.

The cute little piggy bank was a gift from Hamp's Uncle D, Aunt Kee, and Judson!
These books are from family and friends and they each have a sweet message in them to us and Hampton.  I can't wait to read these to him over and over again!
I found these lovely curtains on clearance from Pottery Barn.  They are exactly what I was looking for and I think they are perfect in the nursery!

Taa daaa!  I just love this nursery.  It has turned out to be even more perfect that I had ever imagined!  It is simple, sweet and cozy!  Which is just how we wanted it to be.  I love that it has so many special elements that make it so meaningful to us.  I can't wait to bring our little Hamp baby home and introduce him to his sweet room!
