Spring & Strawberries...

This gorgeous 80 degree weather has given me Spring fever!!!  This weekend I spent some time shopping at the new Hobby Lobby in Dothan!  I know this is nothing new for most of you, but Dothan is a little behind so this new opening has been quite exciting for me.  this is actually my third trip since they've opened and I have to admit...I'm a little addicted.  They just have anything and everything!  I was recently flipping through the latest Pottery Barn magazine, oooing and ahing over their new spring collection.  I found these adorable Easter egg candles.  I marked the page planning to order them.  Good thing I didn't because on my trip to Hobby Lobby, I found these adorable ceramic eggs for half the price!  

Healthy tip:  After a nice walk with Kole and Thor on Sunday afternoon, we headed to Publix where we found the most gorgeous strawberries! (By the way I LOVE strawberries)  We got three containers of them.  I have found that if I take the strawberries, wash and cut them, and place them in a container, I am more likely to snack on them throughout the week instead of something less healthy.

Are they not gorgeous!?  I definitely snacked on these guys as I cut them up...I just couldn't resist!

Weddings & Babies...

Where oh where have I been...getting ready for weddings and babies!  My brother and his fiance are getting married April 30th, so we have had lots of fun wedding festivities to attend.  It is still hard to believe my brother is getting married, but I have loved celebrating their upcoming wedding!

 It was so fun to meet some of Alyssa's friends from college...

 And then of course there were lots of fun wedding gifts...

 Only two more months and the beautiful bride to be will become Mrs. Dean!!!

 The next shower was at our church.  Keesha and I made this an arrangement and had the guests write wishes for the bride and groom and hang them on the arrangement.  It turned out so cute!

 The mother and sister of the groom with the bride!  So excited to have another girl in the fam!

 I always wanted a sister and now I have two!  They are both a blessing to me!

Alyssa is the most beautiful girl I know...inside and out!  My brother is one lucky guy and I know they are going to be so happy together!  Only two more months until the big day!

Next on the list....BABIES!!!  One of my best friends from college, Katie, is having a baby!  She's the first to have a baby and we are beyond ecstatic!  So what do we do, of course we plan a baby shower!

 The best part of the trip was being able to see my best friends! We had some time to catch up and it was much needed! Oh how I wish I lived closer to these girls!

 Katie and Jeff decided to let the baby's gender be a surprise so there were lots of gender neutral gifts!  Katie got some amazing gifts and it was so fun to see all the fun baby stuff out there!

 Baby Wasden is definitely a sweet blessing!

 After the shower, Katie gave us a tour of the nursery!  It was so precious!  

  Katie is going to be an incredible mother!  I can't wait to hold that sweet baby!  Congratulations Katie and Jeff!  What a precious gift! ; )

All I need...

My best friend, my greatest gift, my partner for life...my amazing husband.  He is my everything!   

Laughing together, walking through the tough stuff together, and sharing every blessing together....just being together, is all I need!  Always take the time to tell the special people in your life you love them!  That's what Valentine's Day is all about.

I am SOOOO HAPPY that I will be seeing these beautiful girls this weekend....

These are my sweet friends that I will be spending the weekend with!  We have sooo much to catch up on and I cannot begin to describe how happy I am to see them!  I miss them everyday and spending time together is always full of laughter, mini therapy sessions, and a whole lot of fun(and maybe a tiny bit of wine.)   But this time we have something extra special to celebrate!  Katie (the one in the middle) is having a BABY!!!!  We are having a shower for her this weekend and it will be the first time we've all been together since she found out she was pregnant.  She's the first to have a baby among our group of friends so as you can imagine...we are thrilled!!!  So I'm sure our girl's weekend will include a lot of baby talk and rubbing on that precious belly!  Cannot wait to see my girls!  Birmingham bound in 6 hours!!!!

BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kole and I are so excited that we are going to have a NEPHEW!!!!  My sister-in-law, Keesha, and her husband, Dustin just found out they are having a baby boy!  We can't wait to be Uncle Kole and Aunt LeLe!!!!

I can tell you we are in love with him already!
